ABMyr Expands, Opens New Fab Shop
March 1, 2009Comments A family-owned manufacturer of industrial paint-finishing systems since 1920, ABMyr Industries, Belleville, MI, has invested more than $2 million to build and equip a 50,000-sq.-ft. metal-fabrication, prototyping and production center within its plant. The company expects its new fabrication center—which offers laser cutting, press-brake bending, forming and welding capabilities—to create 38 new jobs by 2011. Dubbed ABMyr Laser Design & Fabrication, the facility can process sheet and plate to 1 in. thick to provide parts and assemblies and provide rapid-prototyping services.
