Metabo Corp.
Booth C10815
Metabo Corp. will show what the company says are the first-ever large 7-in. (WEPB 24-180 MVT) and 9-in. (WEPB 24-230 MVT) safety-brake grinders that stop the wheel within 3 sec. of releasing the paddle switch, significantly reducing the risk of injury if the operator loses control of the tool. Another safety feature: non-locking paddle switch and an electronic clutch, which helps protect the user if the wheel binds. Both grinders also include electronic overload protection to keep the motor from overheating. Additional tool features include an anti-vibration side handle and a three-position back handle for cutting or grinding applications. The company also will show a cordless ¼-in. rivet gun with advanced battery technology and an 18-V brushless rivet gun.
