High-performance waterjet-cutting headThe IDE abrasive waterjet-cutting head features a head body, orifice and mixing chamber combined into one piece, eliminating guesswork on individual piece wear and tear, reducing inventory of multiple parts and simplifying head mounting.

The longer-life, permanently mounted diamond orifice will not become misaligned or break, according to company officials. Its design is based on a coalescing plenum for effective and efficient mixing of water and abrasive, minimizing jet-stream disruption and resulting in maximum energy in the waterjet stream.
