Tube Laser Provides Bevel Cutting for Tube to 25-in. Dia.

Machitech, Saint-Marc-des-Carrieres, QC, has introduced the
Fiber Tube XL laser cutting machine, designed for cutting industrial tube and
tube profiles. The Fiber Tube XL cuts round, square and complex profiles to 40
ft. long and from 0.8 to 25-in. dia. Power range: 6-12 kW.
Features include a 3D contour bevel-cutting head that boasts a slim profile. An adaptive-clamping system automatically adjusts for round, square, rectangular, oval and custom profiles. High-speed rotation and clamping, self-centering and pipe-position detection also are available.
The machine also includes a three-chuck design that provides stability and precision to minimize vibration and ensure perfect alignment, while enabling zero tail cutting to minimize material waste. And a large-screen smart controller provides intelligent and intuitive control with easy operation and includes Lantek Flex3D nesting software.
