MC Machinery Systems Promotes Tony Imbrogno to CEO

MC Machinery Systems, Elk Grove Village, IL, a manufacturer
of fabrication and machining equipment including Mitsubishi lasers, EDMs,
automation systems and press brakes, has promoted Tony Imbrogno to CEO,
becoming the first American CEO of the Mitsubishi Corp. subsidiary since its
founding in 1978. Outgoing CEO Tomoo Yoshikawa will return to Mitsubishi Corp.
in Tokyo. Imbrogno began his career at MC Machinery in 1986 as a field service
engineer and has held numerous management and executive positions, including
his most recent 7-yr. stint as senior vice president of operations, customer
service and support.
The firm also appointed Hiroto Shindo chief operating officer, a newly created position. Shindo most recently served as managing director of MC Machinery Systems-India.
