Tri-Mer Corp., Owosso, MI, exhibits a combination chiller/dust collector for laser operations. The system has an air-cooled chiller for heavy-service laser heads and optics, and its plug-and-play features minimize setup. Its MERV 16 filters are 99.999-percent efficient on 0.5-µ and larger particles; and the dust collector has continuous-duty pulse-jet cleaning. Other products include the Tri-Flow submicron filter system that delivers HEPA performance and reportedly provides a superior alternative to bags and cartridges. The Whirl Wet dust collector is 99-percent-plus efficient for a range of applications and micron sizes.
