United Performance Metals (UPM), Hamilton, OH, has been audited and approved to continue to perform laser machining and cutting for General Electric and its suppliers. As a result of the audit, UPM was awarded a GE Transportation Aviation Special Process Certification for Laser Machining/Cutting.
Robinson Metal, Inc., Green Bay, WI, a group of five divisions employing 320 people, has earned ISO 9001:2008 certification. Among the company’s divisions is Robinson Machine, which provides custom machined components; Robinson Custom Enclosures, which fabricates sound-attenuated enclosures, fuel tanks and other products for the power-generation industry; and Robinson Heating and Cooling.
