Stainless/Aluminum Supplier Orders Blanking Line
November 1, 2009Comments Guy Metals, Blaine, MN, a warehousing and processing service center that specializes in stainless steels and aluminum alloys, has purchased a new precision blanking line from Red Bud Industries, Red Bud, IL. The line, scheduled to begin operating during the summer of 2009, will process coils to 40,000 lb. at widths to 72 in. and material thickness to 0.375 in., and will produce blanks with length tolerance to ±0.005 in. Included is a heavy-gauge peeler breaker, dual Herr-Voss levelers, flatness-inspection table, PVC and paper applicator and automatic part diverter.
