New Multi-Blanking Line at Calstrip Coil-Processing Facility
September 28, 2020Comments Calstrip Industries has installed a Braner/Loopco cut-to-length multi-blanking line at its coil-processing center in Blytheville, AR. The new line has capacity to convert 30-ton by 72in.-wide coils of bare and coated carbon steel, aluminum alloys and stainless steels, in sheet thickness to 0.135 in., into sheets and precision blanks. Included: a precision cassette-style CNC roller leveler; PVC and interleaved-paper applicators; a precision quick-set multi-blank slitter; a flat-passline servo-driven flying shear; an on-the-fly product inspection station and hands-off reject system; an automatic skid injector; and numerous machine-safety permissives and safe-operating apparatus.
