Ohio Service Center Launches SCS Cleaning Line

Fulton County Processing has installed an SCS coil line from Red Bud Industries, Red Bud, IL, at its service center in Delta, OH. The line gives hot-rolled black materials a smooth, clean and rust-resistant finish—a cost-effective and environmentally friendly alternative to the pickling and oiling process. It works by brushing a all of the surface scale except for a micro-thin layer.
The 72-in.-wide line handles material to ¼ in. thick and includes a heavy-duty peeler breaker, crop shear, Butech leveler and choppers, and tension-type recoiler.
