Coe Press Equipment, Sterling Heights, MI, announced that it has recently installed a new press-feeding line at the North American Stamping Group (NASG) facility in Portland, TN. The facility produces stamped parts and welded assemblies for automotive and other industries. This line joins 10 other Coe lines already installed at various NASG locations.

The 72-in. line can process coil from 0.040 to 0.325 in. thick depending upon the width and steel strength. It features a 72-in. servo roll feed with a ServoMaster touch controller, a 72 in. by 14-ft. dual-threading table with a roller top, and a 50,000-lb.-capacity coil reel. The line also includes a Coe 406 powered straightener featuring ultrasonic variable-speed loop control with a three-position selector switch. Additionally, the system comes with perimeter guarding and safety controls. Coe also provided installation, startup and training for the lines.
