Coe Press Equipment Delivers New Cut-to-Length Line

Coe Press Equipment, Sterling Heights, MI, announced that it has designed, shipped and installed a cut-to-length (CTL) line to a manufacturer of custom air-handling equipment in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. The 66-in.-wide line, comprised of a Coe servo roll feed, a 4 by 66-in. power straightener, a 66 by 14-in. dual threading table, a 20,000-lb. by 60-in. coil reel, and a 66-in.-wide hydraulic production shear, produces blanks in sizes from 24 to 192 in. in length and from 24 to 60 in. wide. Capable of processing stainless, galvanized or cold-rolled steels 0.030 to 0.125 in. thick at speeds to 362 ft./min., it features centralized operator controls for the straightener and reel, giving the operator a single point of control.
