unison-tube-bender-wall-colmonoy-OKCWall Colmonoy Oklahoma City has added a new CNC Unison Breeze 80-mm electric pipe and tube draw bender to its plant floor.  The bending machine marks a significant upgrade to the company’s ability to support OEM and Nicrocraft FAA-PMA aftermarket exhaust part production, the company says, streamlining operations and improving productivity and lead times for aircraft-exhaust customers.

The Unison Breeze bending machine boasts a 1200-mm/sec. axis-feed speed and 14,800 Nm of bend torque. It can perform multi and compound bends for parts with complex geometries, streamlining production, shortening welding times and decreasing multiple saw operations. As a result, Wall Colmonoy OKC expects to reduce energy consumption and scrap

Wall Colmonoy's Oklahoma City facility specializes in the design, engineering and manufacturing of military and commercial heat exchangers, aircraft-exhaust systems and components for OEM and MRO sectors. In addition to tube and pipe bending, processes performed include brazing, welding, assembly, machining and fabrication.
