Mayville Engineering Company Buys Defiance Metal Products

Mayville Engineering Company (MEC), Inc., Mayville, WI, has acquired Defiance Metal Products (DMP), a Defiance, OH-based manufacturer of metal products for the commercial vehicle, agriculture, construction, and military industries. A full-service metal fabricator and contract manufacture for the commercial vehicle, agriculture, construction, and military industries, DMP plant locations include two in Defiance, one in Heber Springs, AR and another in Bedford, PA.

MEC, with 16 facilities in WI, MI, VA, SC and MS, provides prototyping, production manufacturing, fabrication, tube forming, coating and assembly services for industries including commercial and recreational vehicle, agriculture, construction, military, turf care, mining and medical.
