Sodick Building New U.S. Headquarters in IL
September 1, 2016Machine-tool manufacturer Sodick Inc. is set to build its 40,000-sq.-ft. U.S. corporate headquarters in Schaumburg, IL. The facility, scheduled for completion in July 2017, is expected to nearly double the size of Sodick’s existing facility, and will include an additional loading dock to better accommodate the company’s increased sales volume. Also, the new facility will feature an expanded EDM showroom, engineering bay and a dedicated additive-manufacturing technology center to house Sodick’s OPM line of 3D metal printers.
