Post-Processing Sustainability Opportunities in AM
August 24, 2020…is the subject of a new blog from PostProcess Technologies, which offers that while not only good for the environment, sustainability in additive manufacturing (AM) also can benefit the bottom line.
Post-processing plays an important part, as sustainability efforts can cut the use of harmful chemicals and waste streams, and reduce the need for energy- and resource-intensive reprints due to part damage during finishing. Though examples focus on AM post-processing of nonmetal materials, sustainability benefits can transfer to metal post-processing as well.
