AM Sustainability Association Adds Eight More Members
February 26, 2021The Additive Manufacturer Green Trade Association (AMGTA) continues to add to its membership list. Following an earlier new-member update, AMGTA reports the addition of eight new members, thus bringing association membership to 20 companies and organizations.
Joining as a new Founding Member is ExOne, a provider of additive manufacturing (AM) systems that employ binder jetting technology.
New Participating Members include BASF 3D Printing Solutions, offering a host of 3D-printing solutions via its Forward AM brand; Fraunhofer Institute for Laser Technology, which researches laser-based AM; HP Inc., provider of 3D-printing systems and digital-manufacturing products and services; Rusal America, subsidiary of Rusal, a producer of low-carbon aluminum; Trumpf Inc., which provides AM systems as well as other laser-based manufacturing technology and machine tools; 6K, a metal-powder producer; and DyeMansion, with offerings of automated post-processing workflows for industrial polymer 3D printing.
“(The new members’) dedication to support our trade group’s mission well-positions the AMGTA for continued growth and helps to fund new sustainability research projects in AM,” says Sherry Handel, AMGTA executive director. “I am looking forward to working with all of our members as we expand the AMGTA as a key industry resource in advancing sustainability in the AM industry this year and beyond.”
