Advancing the Use of Aerospace Alloys for Additive Manufacturing
September 1, 2014The Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology, East Hartford, CT, has received a contract from America Makes (the National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Institute) to advance the use of aerospace alloys in additive manufacturing. Supporting the contract award: the U.S. Air Force and Optomec, a manufacturer of 3D printing equipment.
