“Buy nice or cry twice”, when it comes to quality, having the right tool matters. Otherwise, “Honey - I can do that for less” ends with paying a professional to fix your mess. Choosing the right lubrication system for your metal forming line is no different. Precise lubrication means higher quality parts, longer die life, fluid savings and less mess on your floor. Unist systems ensure precise and consistent stock lubrication from for stock as thin as .002”, as thick as .350”, and in widths from 0.5” to 96”. Configurations can be used to push or drag stock mitigating slack and snapping in the line. Unist’s applicator offering includes:
Uni-Roller® S2 – best for widths up to 96”
Uni-Roller® S2 Powered – best for blank / sheet stock
Mini-RollerTM – best for narrow stock 0.5”- 6”
TSL TM – best for ultra-thin stock
LV nozzles – best for non-contact application
When it comes to quality, are you ready to stamp with the best?
Results, Inc. (HRI), Southfield, MI, has released the results of its Q1
2022 Harbour IQ Manufacturing Pulse Study, indicating that the tooling
industry rebounded in 2021 with companies on average seeing
year-over-year revenue growth of 10 percent. Additionally, mold and die
shops saw utilization range between 81 and 89 percent throughout 2021
and, although Q1 2022 has started out slightly slower, shops forecast
utilization to reach 90 percent (mold) and 82 percent (die) by Q4 2022.
The study also finds that the higher cost of business and access to labor remain top concerns.
