ATI Industrial Automation, a manufacturer of robotic accessories and end-of-arm tooling, has developed a new standard robotic tool-changing and -storage solution: the QC-7 robotic tool changer. The pneumatically actuated QC-7 features no-touch locking technology and a patented failsafe locking mechanism for a secure connection between the master and tool.

Laser-Cutting Machine Features New Drill and Tap Module

BLM Group USA will demonstrate new features of its LT8.20 Lasertube in its booth. Updates include a drill and tap module that offers friction or classic drilling and roll tapping, helping to eliminate secondary processes. A new adjustable-mode beam, 5-kW resonator (reportedly the first in the industry) with independent and dynamic control helps optimize performance based on material thickness and assist gas, while a sensored cutting head continuously monitors lens and glass condition for wear and dirt.

Waterjet Cutting Machine Offers Automatic Taper Control, Long Life

Omax is demonstrating the precision and versatility of the Omax 80X waterjet cutting machine with Tilt-A-Jet technology that provides advanced automated taper compensation, reportedly resulting in virtually zero taper.

Amada to Debut Brevis 1212 AJ Fiber Laser

Amada’s new Brevis 1212 AJ fiber laser provides the versatility of a production-quality laser in a compact design. It features simple material loading and an optional rotary index to process tube and pipe. Maximum sheet size: 4 by 4 ft. Live Demos of Cold Saws, Ironworkers, Pipe Notchers and Hydraulic Presses

Scotchman will perform live product demonstrations continuously throughout the show. Equipment on display includes the CPO 350 AutoLoader circular cold saw with the new, Clear Awareness Barrier with safety interlock switch. These new features provide extra safety for sawing while allowing the operator to visually monitor the saw in-action.

Prima Power has expanded its range of 2D laser cutting machines with its new Laser Genius+ 2D fiber laser, providing a trajectory speed of 180 m/min. and designed to make the most of the laser power available.
