Part-Separation and Stacking Automation for Sheet Nests
Amada America provides two types of part-separation and stacking automation for laser- and CNC punching-machine sheet nests: the PSR (Part Sorting Robot, pictured) and TK (TaKeout) systems. “For larger laser-machine offerings, the PSR3015 system removes the entire sheet from the laser, with the laser continuing to cut the next sheet,” says Phil Picardat, the company’s product manager for automation. “The part-sorting robot grabs individual parts out of the skeleton and stacks them onto a pallet.”

Compact, High-Power Diode Laser in Self-Contained Package
The Coherent HighLight DL HPS is an industrial diode laser offering high power output―1 to 4 kW―in a compact, self-contained package, making it particularly useful for systems integrators and end users performing metal cladding, heat treating, brazing and welding. The laser employs an all-in–one configuration, meaning that the laser head, power supply, water chiller and heat exchanger all are contained in a single enclosure, measuring only 670 by 1050 by 1760 mm. the compact size makes it suitable for space-constrained applications, such as those often found in the automotive industry.

AMADA Introduces the World’s First Fiber Laser Cutting System with Locus Beam Control (LBC)
AMADA’s LBC Technology creates infinite locus patterns—ensuring the optimum beam shape for each specific cutting application. This results in the highest quality cuts in both stainless and mild steel and the best edge quality in aluminum with virtually no dross. The VENTIS 3015 AJ leverages a high-brightness fiber laser oscillator to maintain optimum quality of the high-energy density laser beam. Unique cutting capabilities and exceptional speed enable the 4kW VENTIS to easily rival fiber lasers utilizing much higher wattage at a considerably lower operating cost.
