Dengensha America is showing at FABTECH its newly added 50-kA LinearWave capacitor discharge welder (CDW) for welding high-strength steel, aluminum and large-projection and ring-projection parts. The company’s line also includes 75-, 100- and 150-kA welders.
At FABTECH, the Impax Tooling Solutions
division of Wilson Tool International displays everything from standard
punches and dies to custom tooling and punch retainers. HP Accu-Lock
inserts enable customers to make and modify retainers onsite and on

During FABTECH, Prima Power North America shows off the Laser Genius fiber laser cutting machine
with a 10-kW laser, which promises high cut quality on thicker
materials. This machine benefits from improved integration of all
machine components, and the innovative use of materials such as the

At FABTECH, AKH, Inc. displays its painted Fas-Ner system,
which allows for direct insertion into prepainted metal. The
self-piercing fasteners are color matched to the color of the painted
assembly, allowing for the elimination of spot welding and riveting.
