Lincoln Electric, Stress Engineering Services to Partner on Large-Format Metal AM |
Lincoln
Electric and Stress Engineering Services, Inc. have signed a memorandum
of understanding to formalize their collaboration in large-format metal
AM. The partnership, note officials from both companies, is expected to
pay dividends in applications such as energy, power-generation, and
oil-and-gas industries as they realize potential benefits of AM for
large-scale metal-part fabrication such as shorter lead times, reduced
costs, digital inventory, design flexibility and high quality,
especially as compared to castings. |
