Goessling USA, Inc., Johnson City, TN, has added a new design to its line of magnetic slide conveyors, which features a one-piece formed sliding surface that eliminates any possibility of fine material or oil to sit in corners on either side of the conveyor. The result is 100-percent transference of the smallest and finest material and zero possibility of oil penetration anywhere along the conveyor sliding surface, according to company officials. The formed sides of the sliding surface act as guides to keep material on the sliding surface. By using a slight incline during the placement of the conveyor, any oil can be directed back to the conveyor entrance where the parts/scrap make contact with the sliding surface and where the oil can then be reclaimed.
