Nissan Approves Metalforming Lubricant, Rust Inhibitor

Wednesday, July 9, 2008

D.A. Stuart Co., Warrenville, IL, announced that its Drawsol WM 950 lubricant and Dasco Guard 2413 rust inhibitor have been approved by Nissan North America for use on parts run through paint phosphate/e-coat systems. Drawsol WM 950, a water-soluble drawing and stamping compound, finds use in the forming of automotive cross members, door jams, seat components and other under-hood parts. Dasco Guard 2413, an oil-based water-displacing rust inhibitor, deposits a light film that offers corrosion resistance, and it separates from water and alkaline solutions for extended bath life.
