Duggan Manfuacturing, Shelby Township, MI, a 7-yr.-old manufacturer that originally built a niche in rapid prototyping of small and medium-sized parts, has purchased a 75,000-sq.-ft. facility on 9 acres in Shelby Township in order to more efficiently provide low- and medium-run production stampings and welded assemblies for its customers. With its 50 presses, three robotic-welding cells, seven CNC laser-cutting machines and six coordinate-measuring machines, it needed a dedicated and consolidated facility in which to efficiently operate, says Duggan CEO Rod Westich.
