Romer CimCore Relocates Technology Center

Romer CimCore Inc., focused on portable-metrology products, has relocated its Farmington Hills, MI, Technology Center to the Hexagon Metrology Precision Center in Wixom, MI, following the company’s recent acquisition by Hexagon Metrology. The Hexagon Metrology Precision Center offers three high-technology temperature-controlled laboratories for calibration and repair, a large demonstration facility, multiple training rooms and additional office space, according to company officials. The facility will house Romer CimCore’s sales, marketing, training, and service operations. Romer CimCore Inc. was purchased by Hexagon AB in August 2004, and is part of the Hexagon Metrology Group that also includes Brown & Sharpe, DEA, TESA, Leitz, Romer SA, CE Johansson, and metrology software developers Wilcox Associates and Mirai.
