Schuler to Hold its Annual Symposium
and Workshop for Auto Suppliers

Schuler Inc. will present its 8th Annual Symposium & Workshops: Metalforming Technology Trends for Automotive Suppliers, on Tuesday, August 26, at St. John’s Conference Center in Plymouth, MI. Presentations will cover forming and drawing of high-strength steels, aluminum stamping, equipment design, transfer systems and more. William E. Gaskin, president of the Precision Metalforming Association, will offer the keynote address: Economic Trends and Key Performance Factors Impacting Metalforming Companies in North America. The symposium will be followed by workshops that explore: the decision between transfer or progressive-die presses; production of small- and mid-sized parts in presses with capacities to 800 tons; hydraulic-press basics; and forming and drawing of high-strength-steel parts.
