New Association Represents Michigan Diemakers

The newly formed Coalition for the Advancement of Michigan Tooling Industries (CAMTI) looks to bring unity and organization for Michigan tool, die and mold makers in state and federal policy matters. CAMTI’s goals, to elevate awareness of issues important to the tooling industries, are supported by the Michigan Economic Development Corp., National Tooling and Machining Association and the West Michigan chapter of the American Mold Builders Association. There are some 1600 tooling companies in Michigan, employing roughly 50,000 workers. Check out CAMTI at www.camti.org.
