T.J. Snow Supplies Multi-Gun Spot Welder to Muffler Maker

Resistance-welding-equipment manufacturer T.J. Snow Co., Chattanooga, TN, recently furnished the Tier One muffler supplier for the new 2014 Corvette with a specially designed multi-gun spot-welding machine. The firm, which celebrated its 50th anniversary on April 1, 2013, also has on its production floor two machines being readied for seam welding the necks of shock absorbers. T.J. Snow operates out of a 64,000-sq.-ft. facility on 12 acres adjacent to the Chattanooga airport, and maintains a 12,000-sq.-ft. warehouse where it stores an inventory of more than 300 used welding machines.
