Long-Life Spot-Welding Electrodes
March 1, 2008![]() |
Learn about two new resistance-welding electrodes from CMW, Indianapolis, IN, that promise to dramatically extend cap life, improve weld consistency and reduce power consumption. CMW’s finned-cap electrodes employ a new design that resists deformation and extends cap life as much as three times compared to conventional electrodes, the company claims. And, its Elkaloy 20 cap electrodes, of a new dispersion-strengthened copper, offer as much as six times normal wear life.
