Medical-Device Maker Expands with Class 100,000 Clean Room

LSA Laser, a fast-growing contract manufacturer of medical-device components and assemblies in Plymouth, MN, has opened a Class 100,000 clean room to process silicone, TPE, Teflon and other polymers in addition to a wide range of medical-grade metal alloys. The firm operates out of a 26,000-sq.-ft, facility with 26 laser-welding and cutting systems.
