PennEngineering to Expand Ireland Facility, Create 70 New Jobs

PennEngineering has announced the expansion of its operations in Galway City, Ireland. The firm, which manufactures self-clinching and other mechanically attached fasteners, as well as fastener-installation equipment and molded and stamped products, expects the expansion to create 70 new jobs over the next 5 yr.
The €14 million expansion project, expected to be completed by January 2025, includes construction of a new 4000-m2 building that will house a state-of-the-art technology and training center, testing laboratories and a customer-experience center.
