Thermadyne Name Change Reflects a Return to its Roots
July 1, 2012CommentsThermadyne Holdings Corp., St. Louis, MO, has changed its name to Victor Technologies Group, Inc., “to reposition the company in the marketplace and return to our roots,” says CEO Martin Quinn, who calls Victor the company’s strongest and most established brand. The firm manufactures cutting, welding and gas-control products under several brand names, including Victor, Tweco, Arcair, Thermal Dynamics and Thermal Arc.
