Rocklin Manufacturing Transforms Historic Building
January 29, 2019Comments
Rocklin Manufacturing, a Sioux City, IA, provider of micro welders and laser markers, moved back to a renovated building that once headquartered the company. Rocklin founder I.J. Rocklin had purchased the building in 1942, back when the company made agricultural equipment.
Needing more room, the company decided to renovate the building, which is located adjacent to Rocklin’s current headquarters.
Recognized with an award by the Siouxland Chamber of Commerce for its $1.4-million renovation effort, Rocklin hopes to have the building (built in 1812) listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
