O’Neal Manufacturing Services Opens a New Plant in Alabama

O’Neal Manufacturing Services (OMS) has opened a 130,000-sq.ft. custom steel-fabrication center in Fayette, AL, with plans to invest more than $4 million in capital equipment and hire 80 employees. The Fayette plant features robotic and manual welding stations, a beam-cutting line, wet paint booth, press brakes, laser cutting, and saw cutting to support medium to heavy gauge steel fabrication.
OMS, an O’Neal Industries affiliate company, provides production and manufacturing redundancy for OEMs engaged in heavy equipment industries such as truck and trailer, agricultural equipment and material handling. The new facility is the company’s ninth in North America, including its corporate headquarters in Birmingham, AL.
