During a special ceremony held on January 6, 2014, AWS, Miami, FL, presented an Extraordinary Welding Award to the Times Square New Year’s Eve ball, a 12-ft.-dia. welded-aluminum geodesic sphere that weighs nearly 12,000 lb.
Congratulations goes out to Its fabricator, Hudson Scenic Studios, Hudson, NY.
