Bootsweld shows two gas metal arc welding (GMAW) torches: the Swift handheld (shown) and the Metabot. Named for its lightweight experience, this torch features an ergonomic handle designed for ideal balance in the welder’s hand. The Metabot, designed for maximum efficiency, reportedly reduces shielding gas consumption by 70 percent and delivers twice the power at a lower velocity than other GMAW torches currently on the market, according to company officials. In addition, Boostweld's two-part nozzle innovation significantly reduces spatter.
