Esab Welding & Cutting Under New Ownership
March 1, 2012CommentsColfax Corp., Fulton, MD, has acquired Charter International plc, owner of Esab Welding & Cutting Products, as well as Howden, a manufacturer of air- and gas-handling equipment. “The acquisition is not expected to impact Esab customers or distributors,” says Mark Elender, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Esab North America. Colfax owns 10 brands in the pumping and fluid-handling market.
