Aida-America Promotes Two in its Mechanical Engineering Dept.

Metal stamping press manufacturer Aida-America, Dayton, OH, has promoted Ben Shepherd to manager of mechanical engineering and named Wade Pearson assistant manager of mechanical engineering. During his nearly 11 yr. at Aida, Shepherd has worked as a mechanical engineer, senior mechanical engineer, mechanical engineering group leader and assistant manager of mechanical engineering. In his new role, he will manage engineering resources and department deliverables to meet the requirements of Aida’s customers. He is directly involved in the development of new products while continuing to improve existing products and processes.
Pearson has worked at Aida for more than 9 yr., holding the
positions of mechanical engineer, senior mechanical engineer and group leader
of mechanical engineering. In his new role, he will work as both a manager of
and contributor to the engineering department while driving quality, process,
structure and efficiency improvements. He will also be involved in the
development of new products.
