Wauseon Machine Acquires McAlister Design to Expand Automation Capabilities

Wauseon Machine and Manufacturing, Inc., Wauseon OH, a provider of robotic automation, tube-fabrication equipment, and build-to-print precision machined parts, has acquired McAlister Design and Automation LLC, Greenville, SC. The acquisition, say company officials, is a springboard for Wauseon Machine’s ambitious growth plans to make its automation capabilities and services available in more regions of the country. McAlister, specialists in robotics, vision systems, semiautomatic operator workcells and welding-automation systems, operates from four facilities, totaling 48,000 sq. ft.
