Stamper/Fabricator Adds Two Robotic-Welding Cells
February 1, 2011Five robotic-welding cells weren’t enough for Germantown Tool & Machine Inc., Huntingdon Valley, PA—the firm had to go out and purchase two more. The metal stamper and sheetmetal fabrication shop, with 50 employees and a 55,000-sq.-ft. facility, acquired a pair of Fanuc six-axis robots partnered with Lincoln Electric PowerWave 455M arc-welding power supplies. Robots boast 65-in. reach and 35-lb. payload.
