Dual In-Die Conveyors for Fast Part Removal

Automatic Feed Co., Napoleon, OH, has introduced vacuum in-die conveyors that can remove multiple blanks through the exit end of a press, eliminating the need for side-out conveyors or side stackers. Based on a standard Automatic Feed design, the sizing of the conveyor system adapts to fit each customer’s dies.

The systems offer variable belt speed to enable integration of part-removal timing with the press stroke. Venturis create a secure vacuum hold to maintain part orientation as they move along the conveyors. And, they feature a variable-frequency drive integrated into the coil- feed-line controls.
