Pride Conveyance Systems (PCS), Hollister, CA, a manufacturer of custom container-handling systems for the can-manufacturing industry, has implemented new ERP software from Syspro, Costa Mesa, CA. Of PCS’s 75 employees working out of its 40,000-sq.-ft. plant, 15 make full-time use of the new ERP software, running on Windows 2000.

Management credits the software with helping to grow profits. Says operations manager Al Orosco: “Profitability is based on timely knowledge…The program’s inventory and work in progress modules, in particular, give us up-to-date information on sales, labor and materials on a job-by-job basis so we can recognize our strengths and weaknesses in a timely manner.”

The Syspro Purchase Order Processing module “helped us to raise our order process efficiency and reduce the number of hands required to run the system,” Orosco adds.
