Puritan Magnetics, Inc.
Booth A5079

Puritan Magnetics will show its belt-free magnetic conveyors, designed to convey stamping scrap, knockouts, or chips and turnings from lathes, mills, presses or other metal-working machinery. The virtually maintenance-free, belt-free design is said to eliminate the associated jamming, tearing and premature wear with belt-type conveyors. Internal magnetic assemblies attached to the heavy-duty roller chain travel around the inside of the conveyor body. The magnetic field projects through the stainless-steel conveying surface, attracting parts or scrap to its surface. As the magnet assemblies travel inside, the ferrous objects are conveyed externally along the stainless steel slider bed until they are discharged.
