October 1, 2009![]() |
ISB introduces its RBPC (resolver-based press control), which includes the operator interface self-contained in a panel-mount housing. All electrical connections are made with plug-in terminal blocks. The control includes automatic top-stop compensation, and can accommodate multiple palm-button stations and electric foot switches. Modes of operation include inch, timed inch, single stroke, auto-continuous and auto single stroke. A brake-monitoring system and light-curtain and barrier-guard circuitry is standard.
The controls include four channels of built-in die protection and four channels for programmable limit switches (PLS). An additional 21 die-protection channels and eight PLS channels are possible.
