Linear Automation Launches Tonnage-Monitoring System and Calibration Service

Linear Automation now provides a state-of-the-art tonnage monitor, able to track peak and through-the-stroke tonnage and complemented by advanced die-protection systems to ensure vigilant oversight of the stamping press and tooling.  Relying on accurate tonnage readings—including reverse tonnage during blanking operations— is paramount to avoiding potential damage to tooling and equipment and maintaining a repeatable and high-quality finished product.  

In addition, the firm offers routine recalibration service, accommodating presses to 4000-ton capacity, along with stop-time testing.
