Desktop Metal’s ExOne Acquisition—It’s a Wrap

Desktop Metal announced the completion of its acquisition of ExOne and its binder jetting expertise, with the buy allowing Desktop Metal to significantly propel the adoption of additive manufacturing 2.0 for the volume production of end-use parts, according to company officials.The buy was first reported this past summer.

Together, we will drive value for our customers and partners, and expand our business into new verticals. In the coming months, the Desktop Metal and ExOne teams will work together to bring this expanded portfolio to the market.”
