Fastener manufacturer Spirol International Corp., Danielson, CT, has earned a General Motors 2012 Supplier Excellence Award, based on statistics related to quality performance in the areas of line interruptions, recalls and corrective actions. Spirol employs rollforming and stamping technology, fourslide machinery, lasers and other technologies to produce precision shims, coiled and slotted spring pins, disc springs, pin and insert installation equipment and similar products.
