Alliance Steel Acquires Standard Steel & Wire

Alliance Steel LLC, Bedford Park, IL, has acquired the working capital assets and customer list of Standard Steel & Wire Inc., Chicago. With the acquisition, the steel service center has formed the Specialty Steel Division of Alliance Steel, headed by Dennis Barista, formerly of Standard Steel & Wire.
The Specialty Steel Division will provide specialty products and services, including cold reduction, edging, strip tolerance and narrow slitting, in small or large quantities.
Alliance Steel services multiple industries with its carbon-flat-rolled-steel needs.
